Who doesn’t love oranges? They are tasty to eat AND good for your health! They are proven to prevent cancer and kidney disease, lower cholesterol, fight against viral infections, AND help prevent signs of aging! Give these yummy orange recipes a try and give your health a boost at the same time!
• 2 chicken breasts
• 1/3 cup plain yogurt
• 1 Tbsp mayonnaise • 1/4 cup flour • 2 Tbsp salad oil • 1 medium onion, sliced • 1/2 orange, zest only • 1 orange, juiced • 1/2 tsp dried tarragon leaves, crushed • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • 2 oranges, peeled, cut in halves • chopped fresh parsley
Combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Dip chicken in yogurt mixture. Roll in flour and then lightly brown chicken in oil. Add onion, orange juice and zest, tarragon, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Continue cooking over low heat for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and tender. Add orange slices, heat. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
