There is a common misconception that Yoga does not burn many calories, but it really can. It is all about how you work your routine. Here is a total body yoga routine that will define your major muscles will melting away fat all while giving you the same amazing mind/body boost.
This routine is actually designed around the traditional sun salutation sequence, using demanding core as well as variants that allow for more calorie burning. The sequence needs to be repeated for 1 hour, which is around 4 or 5 times. By repeating the sequence for one full hour, you will burn approximately 500 calories.
